Mental Health First Aid is the perfect program to build the knowledge and skills to address significant support needs in workplaces, schools and communities during the COVID - 19 pandemic.

BLENDED ONLINE MHFA COMMUNITY

Learn the knowledge and skills to provide MHFA support to an adult in the community (or family)

100% online in a blended format. Total cost is $220 per participant (including GST).

  • Course Component 1 - A self-paced eLearning component (takes 5-7 hours to complete)

  • Course Component 2 - An Instructor-led component using video conferencing (2 sessions of 2.5 hours each including set up time).

BLENDED ONLINE MHFA WORKPLACE

Learn the knowledge and skills to provide MHFA support to an adult in the workplace

100% online in a blended format with workplace examples and videos.

  • Course Component 1 - A self-paced eLearning component (takes 5-7 hours to complete)

  • Course Component 2 - An Instructor-led component using video conferencing (2 sessions of 2.5 hours each including set up time).

 

The online component is beautifully designed and the two engaging face to face (Video Conference) sessions include break out rooms and practice conversations. These sessions will be delived via Zoom.

 

More courses will be added if face to face training is not possible over a longer period. This will include Youth MHFA.

NESA ENDORSEMENT STATEMENT

Youth Mental Health First Aid will contribute 14 hours of NESA Registered PD addressing 6.2.2, 6.4.2, 7.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
